Your personal story and personal file are entrusted to the care of your counsellor. Only the staff at C-BERSS have access to information about you. If you seek help from C-BERSS, a personal file is compiled which includes all relevant documents supplied to the counsellor.

You have the right to request access to your personal file and to view, or copy, its contents.

No file notes are kept on the computer. All file cabinets are kept locked when not in use and C-BERSS premises are secured and patrolled.

Requests for personal contact details are always refused unless we have your express permission to pass this information on.
