I think that is lovely article and so true we cannot change history but as with anything carried well, it can be a source of strengh and not despair - Although I am not a child migrant, my mother was one of the children who was brought up in Vincents home for foundlings and St Joesph' Wembley and so I know the pain it caused my mother and subsequently effected our lives so I am pleased Bill has chosen to take control of his life - I was 16 when I decided I would no longer live with hatred and anger - sadly now that I am older and wiser my mother is not alive for me to love and talk with her so that she too could overcome her brutal life -
Many people who have been thro the system of homes practive avoidance and consequently the rest of the family suffer the shame
So I hope other readers will stand up and be counted and feel proud to have overcome the past and share with their families their amazing stories -
Many thanks
